August is still in ordinary time, but it has a few of my favorite feast days AND a holy day of obligation.

8/6 – The Transfiguration
8/15 – The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Holy Day of Obligation!!)
8/18 – St. Helen
8/22 – The Queenship of the BVM
